The Cowboys haven’t been to the Super Bowl in a while, and their inability to find great players in the second half of NFL drafts has been a central reason why. Diamonds in the rough are the second part of being able to trump the league with first and second-round picks, something Dallas has been very adept at recently.
The club seems to have set themselves up nicely with the selections from the first two days of the draft, adding WR CeeDee Lamb, CB Trevon Diggs and 1T Neville Gallimore. Now, who will help them round out the class like how they did in 2016?
Hopefully, they will will find some studs in Saturday’s rounds. In the meantime, here’s a look at the best they’ve been able to grab from Round 4 through Round 7 since 2000.
