There’s nothing more exciting than getting a first glimpse at your club’s first rounders. Except for when it comes to actual gameplay, and sometimes those premier prospects have a few growing pains when adjusting to the speed of the NFL game.
It doesn’t happen all of the time, as there are certainly ups and downs to every season for a rookie. For example, in 2013, Travis Frederick was clearly going to be a stud for a long time, but he severely struggled against 3-4 defenses with huge nose tackles. Along the trenches is one place where inexperience can be taken advantage of and Dallas faces nine different first-round rookies who could see action in 2019.
