Dak Prescott has thrown for 4000 yards passing for the first time in his four-year career and his the first Cowboys’ quarterback to do so since Tony Romo in 2014.

Prescott entered the 2019 season without a new contract with the intent of letting his play speak for itself. He can now add a 4000-yard season to his resume. It’s safe to say Prescott has now surpassed all expectations concerning his play and has put up an MVP-quality season.

Prescott has also set a single-season career-high in passing yards and has become only the second Cowboys quarterback (Tony Romo) – fifth time – to reach 4,000 passing yards in a season.

Dak Prescott set a single season career-best with his 24th passing touchdown of the year going to Amari Cooper, topping his previous best of 23 TDs during his rookie season in 2016.

Prescott’s milestone came on a beautiful touchdown throw to Amari Cooper. It was Prescott’s 24th touchdown of the season which is also a career-high.

This also marks the first time the team has had a 4000 yard passer, a 1000 yard rusher, and a 1000 yard receiver.

This is also the only time the #Cowboys have had a 4000 yard passer, a 1000 yard receiver and a 1000 rusher in the same season.
