On Tuesday it was reported that Dallas Cowboys defensive captain Tyrone Crawford was involved in a scuffle at Coyote Ugly Saloon in Panama City, Florida on March 15.

According to TMZ Sports, the NFL is now investigating the bar incident. League officials are traveling to the bar in Florida attempting to seek out video showing Crawford getting physical with the local police.

We know there is video showing Crawford shoving several police officers while the cops are trying to take control of the situation. Crawford has not been arrested or charged with a crime.

But now, the NFL is on the case … we’re told league investigators visited the Coyote Ugly on Tuesday hoping to view any footage which could show Crawford’s involvement.

Unclear if the bar agreed to let investigators watch the video.

Additional camera phone video has been discovered by TMZ.

Here’s the video that originally surfaced, showing the brawl that spilled outside the club.

If the NFL does find something in their investigation they aren’t fond of, a suspension could be looming for the 29-year-old defensive end. The Cowboys are already thin along the defensive linewith the indefinite Randy Gregory suspension and the worry on how DeMarcus Lawrence will react to being franchise tagged again.

Crawford would be a first-time offender in the league’s punishment system.

The NFL has also chosen to look in a different direction when others have been involved in fights, but these did not involve police officers.

For what it's worth: Adam Jones wasn't suspended for his airport fight, and Mike Evans wasn't suspended in 2014 for fighting bouncers at a club. Both of those were on video.
