Two straight drives, two straight turnovers. Whatever the Dallas Cowboys defense decided to do to end their malaise, so far so good. DeMarcus Lawrence, who made waves when telling Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson to, in kinder words, remain on the sideline, dove to sack quarterback Carson Wentz and rip the ball out. Antwaun Woods recovered.

One play later, Ezekiel Elliott was eating in the end zone, only for it to be overturned as he was down just short of the goal line. He got to celebrate for a second time just one play later.

With just over nine minutes left in the first quarter, the Dallas Cowboys have taken a 14-0 lead. A friendly reminder that they will start the second half with the ball.
