Dallas Cowboys captain and defensive lineman Tyrone Crawford has been a leader of the defensive line group for years. He’s not the kind of player one would expect to see in a headline such as this one, but here he is. According to TMZ, which claims a video exists but does not present it in their report, Crawford and a group of his friends were involved in a huge bar fight this past Friday in Florida.

Crawford and his squad allegedly got into it with the staff of the Coyote Ugly Saloon in Panama City. Police were called and while making an arrest, TMZ reports witnesses said Crawford shoved two officers who were trying to make an arrest. Crawford had not been arrested himself, according to the outlet’s report.

The fight was epic — in a bad way — multiple people suffered bloody injuries, including bar staff. One employee suffered a broken foot in the melee.

Cops raced to the scene … and witnessed 8 to 10 people still fighting outside, this according to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

The report does not mention Crawford by name, but we’ve spoken with witnesses who are adamant Crawford was a key player in the incident.

At one point, Crawford — 6’4″, 285 pounds — bull rushed his way through two cops and aggressively put his hands on TWO officers who were in the process of handcuffing one of the alleged combatants.

Multiple cops swarmed Crawford and restrained him — while pushing him away from the arrest scene.

The incident involving Crawford was captured on the bar’s surveillance video and shows the scene play out clear as day.

Crawford has been with the Dallas Cowboys since being drafted in the third round in 2012. He’s the jack of all trades for the defensive line, playing both inside and outside wherever the Cowboys need him. He notched a career-high with 5.5 sacks in 2018, with 34 combined tackles, two passes defensed and a forced fumble.

He has two years remaining on his current contract, signed in 2015. He stands to make $7,000,000 in 2019 and has a cap hit of $10.1 million. Crawford has never been suspended by the league.
