After quarterback Dak Prescott inked a blockbuster deal with Dallas, there were questions surrounding the confidence in his rehab. Suffering a gruesome ankle fracture in Week 5 of the 2020 season and then signing a 4-year deal with a $66 million signing bonus the offseason after? Why were the Cowboys so confident in him returning to full health?

Thanks to great work from doctors and the Cowboys training staff, Prescott is already back on the field practicing less than 6 months removed from the injury. The Mississippi State product showed off his progress in a video on Twitter.

Prescott made some awkward throws in the video, similar to the quick ones he was making to Dallas’s star-studded receiving core before his injury. The throws also included planting on his right leg, further showing the confidence he has after the recovery progress.

In the second video posted after the workout, Prescott made some dropbacks while delivering deep throws to a receiver who was working out with him. Seeing the Cowboys’ franchise quarterback back on a field and making strong throws is a sight for sore-eyed Dallas fans who still vividly remember his injury.

Prescott, returning to 100%, is expected to be a full-go in 2021 and will be looking to have a comeback season to retake control of the NFC East and prove he was worth the $160 million price tag.
