I live 10 minutes from Husky Stadium and watch almost all of the Huskies games. Stanback is a very athletic quarterback who hasn't had very good coaching. Either through coaching, lack of talent around him, or lack of certain qualities he hasn't been very productive. He has shown flashes of great ability but hasn't been very consistent. Streaky passer who hasn't been accurate most of the time. Can scramble, good speed for a qb,good kid, has a decent arm and is a good project.

I don't believe he can be a quality WR or returner in the NFL.

It is possible three - four years from now he could be starter in the NFL for the right team.

All of that being said I wanted Dallas to draft Bush. Stanback has a chance to make the team but won't beat out Johnson. Can't remember who the third qb is or remember seeing him play, but Stanback would be a good third qb while learning the game.

I think it is good to draft a qb every year and if nothing else you trade them down the road like Schaub, Young, Hasselbeck etc..........

Stanback is a project but I think he could have waited a round. Never know. He is a good character guy and hard worker with a lot of talent that with good coaching could blossom in the NFL.

I'm from the area too. 4th round is a bit too high for this guy in my opinion. Having said that, I hope it turns out well.
