Lmao! I would say the last 2 games he's starting to look interested again.

    He's getting into tackling again.

They haven’t really played him much really.

He was getting like 10-15 snaps a game for most of the season.

I think they want a bunch of Wilson’s, Kearse, and Neal’s at linebacker. Just some big safeties.

He realized he better put out some decent tape or his chance to acquire generational wealth will pass him by lol

Yeah, funny how he suddenly looks like he's not averse to physical contact. This could be a case of him doing whatever he could to show teams he could make it thru the entire season without getting injured. Whatever the case, not interested. Hopefully he gets a nice contract elsewhere.

Business decisions up until the last 2 weeks for sure.

He's doing what his agent tells him to do. Most players do.

    The team knows that.

I would sit LVE. He made it through 16 games without getting injured. It would be awful if he got injured in game 17, a meaningless game against the Eagles.

He was great against Cardinals, was flying around like his rookie year. He’s playing to get re-signed.

Not surprised that he can play well. Sad that it won't be for a future with the Cowboys. Seemed like a he'd be a perennial star for us. But that was before I knew we drafted a LB with a neck issue. Next time, let's do that at FB.

He's gone from a liability to competently doing his job which is great. I still think he's atrocious getting off blocks and wonder how much of it is Gallimore giving him a cleaner second level to negotiate into position.

Soon, he'll be paid in the top 5 at his position, Jerry loves average talent.

No, fans are confused because Quinn has him playing a different style than he played previously.

Quinn uses him as a Stack & Shed LB.
    - That's basically the equivalent of a 2-gap DLineman.
    - To play Stack & Shed a LB must stay center on the blocker (usually in interior OLineman).
    - Because OLineman weigh about 310 to 320 and LVE weighs 255, he must give up ground to maintain positioning.
    - With Stack & Shed, the LB must avoid getting trapped to either side of the blocker until the ball carrier has committed to that side.

LVE playing Stack & Shed allows Parsons more freedom to play as a Rover and not have to maintain specific gap integrity.

Neal is the coverage specialist LB and replaces LVE on 3rd and medium/long type situations as well as other likely passing situations.
    - Neal generally plays Run & Hit, not Stack & Shed.

For whatever reason, LVE is running better now than he was early in the season.
    - He is actually above average in coverage as a LB.
