Romo:
WOW. Never saw that coming, but better now than against the Pats. The 1st ball to Witten was high. The ball to the DE was an awesome play, hats off to him. The pick at the end was awful. Julius Jones was WIDE open in the flats, no Bill player in sight. Watch it on TIVO. WIDE OPEN. He also under threw TO pretty bad down the right sideline where TO had the CB by 2 steps. All that being said, he is entitled to a bad game, just nothing close to that many INT's ever again please.
TO:
TO was pushed out on that deep ball. That is a catch 100% of the time in my book. BS on the spiking the ball, he didn't even spike it. This rule is awful and seems to be called with no consistency. Awful call. His drop on the quick pass and the drop at the end were bad, and with his rep and salary, he has to catch those, PERIOD. He was open on another medium length that Romo threw at his feet. Bad pass. The 2pt point conversion was close, but it sure looked like face guarding. The CB never attempted to look back at all. That being said, he did great getting his arms in TO's chest and messing up the play.
REFS:
Again, TO made that catch (deep ball), you have to call a push out there. One foot in and other coming down when he gets pushed out.
Spiking the ball on TO was BS. Total BS. He barely flipped the ball. The review at the end was strange, but the correct call at least. But how do you replay it after we spike the ball? Confusing...
Witten and Folk:
Amazing. Both are clutch. Enough said.
Defense:
Great day for the D. They seem to get more comfortable as the weeks go by. They play so tough, guys getting their bells rung left and right. Williams made a few tough hits, but if you see the replay on the TNEW INT, Williams jogs the entire way down field while Rat and Jones hussle all the way and recover the ball.
OL:
No sacks with 50 attempts is great, but those speedy DE's gave us fits. They brought some serious pressure in the 1st half.
TNEW:
He rocks, period. Loved seeing him pick up Folk and hug him on the game winning kick.
BRING ON THE PATS!
