Don't do it, I been following this for several years now. VEGAS DO NOT LIE when it comes to the cowboys. Especiallly when they predict the team expected wins for the season. I hope they prove them wrong but since 2006 I can remember the Cowboys doing 3 upsets. 2006 they beat the Colts, 2008 they barley beat the Bucc without Romo, 2009 they beat the Saints. Besides those games I lost so much money on this team it's crazy.

My first half under was my only bet for this team. THat went away last year.

Tip of the week. Take Dallas to Cover a double digit spread - 14/22 (63.6%) since 1978, 3/4 (75%) since 2002 and 1/1 since 2012 when a double digit dog. Dallas covers about 40% since 2002 as a double digit fav.

Other noteworthy degenerate gambling fact - since 2008 The Raiders have covered 11/14 (78.6%) since 2008 as a double digit dog

Unfortunately double digit margins aren't that common in the NFL now

What's it going to be then, eh?

If it does it sure hasn't worked to our advantage these last few years.

Maybe but this is the first time in a while where some pundits are actually predicting for the bottom to fall out. Usually it ranges from we are favorites back a year before Phillips was fired to the usually mediocre.

The Cowboys have finished 8-8 in three straight seasons, but gamblers in Las Vegas are betting on that to change for the worse.

A number of betting lines for Cowboys games and series predictions have trended against Dallas since the opening lines were released, according to SportingNews.com.

All 11 Cowboys games available for early betting have seen the line move away from them. Dallas is also down to 50-1 odds to win the Super Bowl after betting opened at 40-1.

Unless I missed something, from what I saw, the the betters have picked Dallas to lose 7 games so far....and those are all those that are the toughest on paper ....so no real surprise.

How is that betting that they'll be worse, or, as someone else said, that the bottom will fall out?

Of the 11 games available for betting they have Dallas beating New York, Houston, Washington, and Arizona.

Games not listed are home games vs Jacksonville, Tennessee, St. Louis, and Indy...plus at Washington

They're not. It looks like they are calling for 7-9, 8-8, or 9-7

I will take that bet.....

Right? If you got a few Benjamins to burn why not? If they don't make it, you're out a couple Benjamins you would've probably blown on booze anyway. If they do win, you've got a hundred of them to blow on booze.

Maybe they haven't heard about our greatly improved defense and Rod Marinelli who can work wonders with them. The Cowboys have always under performed when they've been predicted to do well. It would be nice if they could do the opposite this year.

What has Rod Marinelli done since Tampa? Nothing.

It was sarcasm. I heard the same thing when Rob and Monte were hired. I don't expect much out of this defense. It would be nice if they would surprise us though.

For what its worth, Vegas always wins. Especially on "sucker" bets. Those incredible hotels don't build themselves.

This could be a good omen.
