The Fun Begins Next Week
By Rafael Vela

Looking over NFL box scores for some signs of life or lethargy?

Notice the QB’s topping the stats sheets?

Guys like Kyle Orton, Jared Lorenzen, Sage Rosenfels and Aaron Rogers.

In other words — backups.

Teams played their starters for no more than a quarter. And look at the scores after those first quarters. Nine of the games were either 0-0 or 3-0.

We should see the starters play a half next week and get our first good looks at who’s serious and who’s not in ‘07.

Campbell played the entire first half.

Gibbs is prolly giving him one final look before making the decision to start Brunell.

IMO the ONLY way Gibbs stays with Campbell is if the Skins stay close to or above .500 all year, OR if the midget MAKES him play JC. If they ever get 3 games under .500 watch Grandpa Joe put in Uncle Mark for a 104 year old combo :fogeys:

And that would be the most hilarious thing to happen in quite some time.
