I gotta believe a good pass rusher will be worthy of our #28 pick and we need to take him. Heck, I wouldn't mind taking another pass rusher in the 2nd round. Sounds like overkill I know, but we don't know what Tapper or DLaw will give us next year with their back issues and Mayowa and Irving are too inconsistent and sometimes nonexistent. TCrawford and JCrawford are decent players overall, but don't scare anybody let's face it. As far as Romo, last I heard Denver is not interested. I can't see why he would be opposed going to Houston with that defense, but Osloser's contract is huge. Other possibilities for Romo are the Bears, Bills, Jets, Browns and Niners....maybe Arizona? Someone is gonna want him IMO.
It's not the matter of someone wanting Romo. It depends on if Romo wants to play their. He's not gonna be treated like he's some jag. He's gonna go where he wants to or he will retire. He has already said this. So far it's either Denver or no play. Maybe he will say the Texans.

Whoever we get will be akin to when we drafted Demarcus Lawrence. I mean there is a chance you hit gold still but....

Also yes to your #1 but the price would be astronomical.

Tanks workout numbers were bad,i have no idea why they thought he could play RDE.

I'm still holding out some hope for Tapper. But ran a blazing 40 last year. But we need more athleticism, the DE Hall on the other side of Garrett looks like he might be a better pro prospect than a college player IMO.

I wouldnt ,his injury is really bad and i am not sure he can hold up getting beaten up by OTs.

Yes, I know it's not just a team wanting Romo...I knew that already. However, I seriously doubt Jerry will cut Romo if he can't trade him. I don't think Jerry would have a problem with Romo backing up Dak again this year. As he said, "it is very tenable" in terms of the cap for another year. Soon to be 37, Romo should be open to other options if he wants to start again. I think Romo wants to play and think he'll agree to a trade where he can be a starter. If he's willing to go start in Denver, that shows he still wants to play and not retire. Unfortunately, Dak throwing for 300 yards and 3 TD's in the postseason (something Romo never did) doesn't help Romo's chances either.

Romo only wants to go to a contender. If he can't then I can see him retiring and probably getting a coaching job with the Team.

StI'll if the Broncos are offering a 4th round pick vs opening up capspace to sign defense, then I would rather take the cap. Romo can then sign with Broncos on a team friendly contract and play 2 or 3 more years competing for a superbowl.

I'd be shocked if Jerry makes Romo a June 1st cut. Even more shocked if Romo decides to retire...we'll see.

If we get a border line grade-A cornerback vs grade-B DE, I would rather take the CB and look for development projects in rounds 2-3

I think Campbell could play strong side DE and move inside on obvious passing downs. I mean he has been a very consistent pass rush threat in his career. constantly putting up 7, 8, 9 sack seasons. And in a role where he is asked to contain the run more then get after the QB. Also its basically what we would be doing with Demarcus Walker or Solomon Thomas if we drafted them with our 1st. Who's to say Campbell couldn't drop down to 290? We have been playing both Crawford and Irving at LE and both are 280+. Their are not many options for pass rush help and I'm not really into spending big on a FA corner again. Especially when the top ones come from teams with solid to great pass rushing defenses. I would seriously consider giving Campbell the same contract that Michael Bennett got from Seattle. 3 years 31.5 Million. Will be gone by the time we have to pay both Zeke and Dak. Its just a thought tho. Most want JPP but he wants to stay a Giant the Giants want him back too.

Not saying don't sign him just giving my opinion on where he would play in Marinelli D. More excited about his 20 QB hits. Would also recommend signing Panthers' Mario Addison, 10 sacks and 15 QB hits. Under 30 (29) too.

Not sure if Panthers let him walk away without a fight. if anything they let Charles Johnson walk. Wouldn't mind Johnson on a short contract. He was on pace for 7 sack season before a late season injury i believe. He as also one of the leaders for QB hurries before he was injured.

What about Dion Jordan, but as 4-3 OLB with blitz responsibilities and emergency RDE? Would be upgrade over Wilber and could be had for cheap.

I'm down for any type of help. This may be too late for him but i have heard that the Dolphins may be cutting Mario Williams after his horrible season. How would you feel about trying him out during training camp to see if a change of scenery is needed. I do have to note that he played on the same line as Suh and Wake which are far better then what we have on the line. just a thought though

They have a younger Kewann short to resign. I'm sure Addison will be available
