Veteran ESPN personality John Saunders has died at the age of 61

Conducted himself as a gentleman. Class act & one of the few ESPN personalities I could regularly tune in to. Among the few others was Stuart Scott...who's daughters have carried on his legacy very admirably.

May God bless Mr. Saunders and his family.

This is ridiculous......he was just on tv a short bit ago, and now he is gone......one of the best ever. He gave espn a ton of valudity and credibility. He was truly a class act, and I will definitely miss his coverage of various sports.

Grew up watching him as a kid...I had no idea he had been on for 30 years.....incredible. Definitely will be missed. He actually brought class to a presentation that otherwise probably wouldn't have much.
