That's blasphemy in these parts, but really, watching the NFL.com highlights with Sham's calls you begin to realize he flubs quite a few of them these days.

I'll join in the blasphemy, because as much as we all love and appreciate him, IMO his work has fallen way off. He simply doesn't do a good job of doing what the play-by-play man's first responsibility is, and that's describing exactly what's happening on the field. Too often he doesn't even tell you, for instance, how long a run is until a couple seconds after the play is over. It'll sound like a long run and then you find out the RB made two yards... Or vice-versa.

It's really a shame, Theebs. I have always enjoyed your work. I missed the game due to having to move, and I have been looking for something like this. The NFL highlights cut it off at the end after the play. Thanks for doing this, at least from one person around these parts.
