Okay, I'm new to this bitTorrent stuff and could use some pointers,,,

are some bitTorrent programs better than others? Currently I've downloaded a bitTorrent program from bittorent.com and installed it,,, my Norton AV wasn't too happy about the software(**HIGH RISK**), are there any things I should watch out for or preventative measures I should take?

It's a new torrent, so currently there's only 1 seeder. My DL peeks at 60 kb/sec, and then drops to 0 as I gather all the parts that are out there. I'm currently UL my parts at 40 kb/sec. I have 65% of it, and I should have it all within the next 3-4 hrs. I'll seed until there are at least least 10-20 seeders to help out the cause.

Keep uploading for a while after you download it all to keep it healthy

I think it's too early for anyone too have completed it. Currently, there's only 1 seeder (the original poster), and 186 leechers. I use Azureus, it gives a lot of info about the torrent. IMHO, it's probably the best bit torrent client out there.

Yeah - I have the same program, and I show the same thing. My speeds are low based on the connection here, too, though. I may not have it all until tomorrow - we'll see. Hopefully someone will get a completion and begin to seed as well.

When I click the link it opens the tenyardtorrent page but tells me "You don't have permission to access this page". I downloaded the Washington game with no problem at all. Anyone have any ideas?

There are waaaaaaay too many connected. I am dling at less than 1KB/s. Someone needs to hurry up and get finished so we can get some additional seeds. Whoever is uploading this is a saint.
