Crayton: Cowboys are top five NFL team

By dcfanatic, October 30, 2009 6:03 pm

Patrick Crayton is back to his old self again and he was on Dan Patrick today...

Crayton is a good interview. He's not really going crazy by saying the Cowboys are a top five NFL team because they do have a 4-2 record right now.

I wouldn't go top five. More like top ten. The Colts, Saints, Broncos, Giants, Steelers, Bengals, Patriots and Vikings have played more consistently this season.

I don't think Crayton has a chance in hell of ever being an NFL QB, lol.

But I would like to see him take a reverse and chuck it downfield to Roy Williams for a big TD on Sunday.

I'd put them at 7

Saints, Colts, Broncos, Vikings, Pats, Giants, Cowboys, Steelers, Bengals, Chargers would be my top 10.

Someone tell him what "flying under the radar means" and how it can be beneficial. Sheesh!

yea we suck!...so wait..why are you here? lets just trash this team!
Yeah this is the same guy who said we would get throttled by Atlanta because they were a better team than us and if we happened to win it only meant Atlanta sucked.

Talk about cognitive dissonance.

Wow, Crayton can't stop inserting foot in mouth can he? Just let the play on the field do the talking.

Ya missed the two TDs last week, did ya?

way to crap on the team, even after a big win.

You act like this was Ochocinco saying something ludicrous. Or better yet, Joey Porter calling someone out. Let's not go overboard.

Yeah, he's just one of those guys. Just can't help himself. Just can't shut up. Most of this team is very good about not talking crap, but not Crayton. I don't think he'll ever shut up. Sometimes Newman says too much and Roy Williams comes off as a frustrated, spoiled whiner - but Crayton just has a big mouth.

At least Greg "money waaahh playing time waaaah" Ellis, Roy "It wasn't my guy" Williams, Tank "I think I'm so much better than I am" Johnson, Pacman "I should probably be in jail" Jones, and the king of all mouths Me.O. (maybe Jacobs has him beat these days) are gone, so it's less overall. It's a much easier team to follow and root for with fewer jerks.

Crayton was asked a question and answered it. I don't have a problem with what he said. The Cowboys have been competitive in every game and lost two games in the last seconds. If he had said we're not that good, you guys would jump on him for that.

I'm with Crayton should shut up, not get a big head and keep the rest of the team from getting a big head, and should be benched until he understands that he should shut up.

I'll wait for the Seattle game which will show if we're on the upswing or the same old, up and down team before I comment on the rating. Slip up and lose to a game Seattle team with several quality starters returning, and I'd suggest we're middle of the pact. Roll over the Seahawks at home, and I'm definitely on the top 10 bandwagon and ascending.

Um, I wasn't being critical of Patrick.
