My wife pointed this lil hit out to me during the game. Funny stuff!

This happened in the 2nd quarter on a 3rd and long play where we dumped off to Barber. Obviously Hall is about to jump over the pile and Marc is standing there and gives him a little shot.

I saw it when it happened. *** is Hall doing? Barber is obviously down and almost about to get up and Hall comes flying in to jump on the pile. If Colombo doesn't do what he did, Hall would have gotten a 15 yarder for late hit if he came down on Barber!

and it looks like Columbo didn't really see him, just saw a blur of red coming towards the pile after the play, and leveled him, and then he just walks away LOL

no if you look at the angle he's running he's definitely not headed towards adams, and i'm pretty sure he's athletic enough to jump 6 or 8 feet and miss barber.. Colombo is lucky he didn't get flagged, not a huge hit but definitely after the whistle

Hall also got into a little shoving match with columbo following an extra point also. The called a PF on him but said 91 instead of 21.

no if you look at the angle he's running he's definitely not headed towards adams, and i'm pretty sure he's athletic enough to jump 6 or 8 feet and miss barber.. Colombo is lucky he didn't get flagged, not a huge hit but definitely after the whistle

but he still could land short, another player could come into the picture, COlumbo doesn't know that, he just sees a Falcon streaming through the air after the whistle is blown, and wanted to protect his teammates from needless injury

that's why he wasn't flagged

I think the ref in the gif blew his whistle after Columbo sent Hall flying. Notice he stepped out of the way then reached for his whistle.

That said, that's some funny stuff. Hall could've packed some luggage for how far he flew in the air.
