Great stuff from Dilfer. I thought during the game, too, that unlike a lot of weeks we were anticipating where the quick throw would go -- or even baiting the short throw -- and then everyone was getting up and making the tackle. We looked like we knew where the ball would go in advance.

Yeah, I have been waiting for the dbs/lbs to play like that for some time now.

Very good info as always DC. We share the same exact sentiment towards the Johnson and Bollinger scenario. Brad can't utilize any plays in our playbook physically and therefore Bollinger, who can at least throw a decent 20 - 35 yard pass can. Even tough Bollinger stinks also, for this 1 game he has better odds of getting us to 21 points.

On that Bollinger pass I could have sworn I seen him hit the WR in stride on a 35 yarder. I forgot what that looked like even on a 10 yarder with johnson back there.

Exactly. I don't think Bollinger is a good QB, but he should be able to do more with the weapons on this offense than this statue Brad Johnson can.

We have seen what Johnson can do and it isn't pretty. He has no confidence in his arm and therefore looks for his #1 read for .000003 of a sec before he decides that it's time to hit the checkdown. Then if the checkdown is covered we are screwed because he can't keep the play alive by getting out do the pocket and finding a guy coming free.

The Giants know all they have to do is put 8 in the box and aim their pass rushers at the huge target in the middle of the pocket.

If Wade is smart he would let them prepare for Johnson all week and then start Bollinger when Sunday arrives.
