But I thought he had no complaints about what was going on with Romo and Witten? LOL.

Sounds like someone is still a little upset that he got the boot from Dallas.

The Eagles didn't pay him his true value, didn't back him up in the MNF thing with Nicolette Sheridan, didn't honor his 100th TD accomplishment and didn't back him up in the McNabb fued...

But that's his fav team and that's the situation he would have liked to have worked out better.

He's an idiot.

This man was never a true Dallas Cowboy.

Didn't he say that he wanted to go into the Hall Of Fame as a Cowboys?

I cant hate on a guy when he says he preferred the Eagles...I mean he did go to a Super Bowl with them.

I have no harsh feelings for TO and I wish him success for whatever team he plays for, as long as its not in the NFCE.

I'd really like to see him in Cincy, but that wont happen.

He's still talented enough to sign somewhere. My guess is the contract will be more incentive laden than rich up front. That is if someone plays it smart. I think his days of huge paydays are over. He won't starve though.

I'm just so glad this clown is not on our team any longer. Pulled for him while he was here. Appreciated his contributions. Got really tired of his selfish, childish, pass-dropping nonsense. He's not our problem anymore.

Hey TO, we really had a "TR problem" last year, huh? He didn't seem to miss you one bit. I'm sure TO enjoyed his stay in Siberia...err..I mean...Buffalo though :D .

Good riddance.

Well, to me, it's pretty obvious why he would choose the Eagles over the Cowboys and the 49ers. It's so obvious I can't say it, but you know why.

To me, since we released T.O., he's just seemed jaded. He doesn't have that same charisma or entertaining personality that he had in Dallas and at prior stops. He looks beaten.

Eh, so what. Can we move on?

I think most here have "moved on". He's not the major topic of the board any longer, but it's ridiculous to expect us not to talk about him at times - especially after he does interviews and the material is somewhat Cowboys-related. He was a polarizing figure that had a big impact on this team and its fans.

I feel like every TO thread has someone saying "Can we move on?" The answer is yes and no. Don't read the thread if you don't like the topic.

To expect a board that still brings up Quincy somewhat regularly to stop talking about TO is completely unrealistic.

I believe you're right. I didn't think about it that way.

I was a big T.O. fan when he was here, and I thought it was a mistake when we let him go. I thought we could still win without him, only if we ran the ball more because I thought our passing game was sub-par. Wouldn't you say it was for those first four games until Miles Austin's emergence?

Now, I'm not one of these types that reminds you why we shouldn't have released or traded a player when his replacement screws up. So when we had our struggles in Weeks 1-4, I was still over T.O. You know, he wasn't part of the Cowboys, so I didn't see how he was relevant to our problems.

But, anyway, like I said, Miles Austin's arrival really brought that punch back to our passing game that we had when T.O. was here. We became a well-rounded offense again.

First offseason here at the Zone it take it? ;)

Yeah, but I've been on other Cowboys boards before. I can't believe how slow it is this off-season! It's crazy. There's no news anywhere. There's hardly anything to talk about.

I am glad we got TO on the team, but he has a pea brain and a big mouth. Glad Jerry canned him when he did.

Eh I don't know what is so bad there honestly. I didn't get the feeling he had any issue with the Witten relationship. I mean he made a joke out of everyone knowing they're BFF's and I really don't see any animosity in that.

As for liking the Eagles how is that a bad answer by him? They played in the Superbowl while he was there and like he said his best production in his career came there. 20 TDs in 21 games. That's fantastic. Of course he wishes that situation had worked out better cause it was the best fit for him at the best part of his career. There is nothing wrong with any of that.

I do agree he's probably still upset that he got booted from Dallas but can you really blame the guy? He went from playing on a team with loads of talent, who has a shot to contend, to having to play with a team who totally sucks. I don't blame him, in the least, if he's still upset about it but I also hope, though I seriously doubt that it has or will ever happen, that he realises that he's only out of Dallas right now cause he couldn't keep his own mouth shut.

But in this particular interview I see nothing that is really cringe worthy or even the slightest of shots at anyone or any team.

While he may be jaded.

I believe he answered honestly and even gave the reason.

The Eagles went to SB with him and while in Dallas this organization screwed the pooch and never made it.

While Dallas was the more ideal place for him at the time... going to SB is what really matters.

Makes sense.

Same here.

Still glad the fool is off our team, but he didn't do anything wrong here.

He said nothing wrong there...you are looking for something now. He placed blame no where. He talked about handling things differently. He was at his best as a player then. He went to the superbowl. Whats the problem?

It could be that he felt he did nothing here to be released when he played a part in the eagles situation.
