First let me preface this with a 'You are not obligated to watch it!' warning.

Don't send me an email saying that what's past is past and blah blah blah.

This video is brand new. It was not released until now. So that's why I am putting it on the blog.

Now last season many fans were looking to find out who the 'Rat' was for the Ed Werder story. I know I have said it to friends and on the message boards that I felt Brad Johnson was definitely one of the guys talking to Ed Werder.

And this video makes me believe it even more...

If Brad Johnson was being killed by everyone under the sun as a has been, good for nothing, waste of money, incapable, why is he still on the roster and on his way out of town QB then it's more than likely his frustration could have lead him to also try and say there were surely other problems on the team besides the fact that he was awful when he played.

And who was he saying these things to?

I guess one of those people was Warren Sapp.

Maybe a few weeks before he talked to Sapp (he spoke to Sapp the week the Cowboys played the Ravens when the NFL Network aired the game) he was talking to Ed Werder and from that point on Werder worked up that story which created such an uproar.

The one good thing.

Brad Johnson is gone.

And I never once bought into the BS that Jason Witten was one of the 'Rats' because that's not his style at all.

Who cares if Brad is gone! Lets get him!:chop:Off with his head!!

;)

brad is gone, time to move on, but i say this, next time team leaders on the cowboys and owner jerry jones finds out who is talking and blabbing stuff to media about stuff that should stay in the locker room, that player needs to go, be cut, traded or whatever.

now other stuff that you can talk to media is ok, but stuff that is discussed privately between players and coaches, stays in the locker room, doesnt go anywhere else

I think Sapp is full of it and when Deion pulled the card that he knows half the team and coaches, Sapp threw out the only name he had.

Then again, I'm sure the lockerroom was a mess when Brad Johnson was starting, as it should be. I'd have been going berserk at the time.

"Aint no NFL team a family. Aint no NFL team a family. If we're a family and the baby stop we all stop and make sure the baby ok. In the brotherhood of men, we go. You dont wanna come with us, you stay there we go. Thats what a football team does."

I kinda liked that.

Yeah, that was pretty cool! :;

Onto Deion's comments: I really don't appreciate his attitude of "I live in Dallas and have friends on the team who tell me...". Blah! Blah! Blah! Friends on the team. T.O. was one of those friends. Also, when Deion was ON THE TEAM, he went after Troy Aikman (making him out ot be a racist, which if he was, no way FOX makes him their premier anchor), and Deion created the divide in the locker room. And don't you know it, here he is again befrieding T.O., the one that took that torch from Deion to create hte Cowboys next gread divide.

But Deion has friends.. I think Sapp knows about Deion all to well, which is why he basically dismissed his "I have friends..." comments and hammered home the point of a team being a brotherhood of men that leaves the problem-child behind. Seemed Sapp was kind of doing that to Deion by dismissing him, much like how the Cowboys left T.O. behind and moved on.

After watching that, I'm very disappointed.

I was hoping Sapp would walk over and beat Deion to a pulp.

definately plausible. remember when brad first started. all his ex-teammates on espn, cris carter and keyshawn were saying brad will be great because he won't take it like romo. he'll be a leader.

This kid is still going on about T.O.? kid, give it a rest already. Who cares what Johnson said, and who cares what Sapp says, he is a fat turd, he thought Deion was going to be scared of him and back down.
Deion called him on his little rant, and he threw out the only person he spoke with.

Me too.

But I do love seeing Deion have to shut up.

And I think Sapp is much more credible in this thing than Deion.

It's in a private meeting and Sapp had mentioned Johnson on those pregame shows a few times. He just never said that Johnson was blabbing that the locker room was all messed up.

This blurb from that Werder article is definitely Brad Johnson in my opinion...

---------
"He's insecure about it,'' the player said of Owens. "The thing that bothers me more than anything about this problem is that it's always something with him -- San Fran, Philly and here, always something. And he brings other people into it. You know, he talks to Sam Hurd and Roy Williams, who just got here and doesn't really know these guys. T.O. talks to him and so now he probably thinks Witten politics with Tony for the ball.

"That's so far from the truth. You think Tony is throwing to him because that's his buddy? His best buddy is Bobby Carpenter, and that's not helping him too much. It's crazy to think that, and I hate that he acts that way.''

But one teammate suggested Romo is frustrated enough that he might initiate a different approach, although not the confrontational kind that some believe might solve the problem.

"To be completely honest, I just think Tony is over it, not like, 'Screw it.' But I think Tony is over the mind games,'' the player said. "It would help if Tony would stand up to him, but he would never do it. He does a great job of ignoring it and not letting it affect him, and that's why it has worked as good as it has. It's just hard. I think right now everybody is to the point where, 'We're going to need him, so let's not piss him off.'"
---------

What other player besides a QB has that mentality to say that a QB needs to stand up to #81, but then also know that he will be needing him at some point?

Those quotes are from Brad Johnson in my opinion.

LOL.

This kid?

Thanks. Can I go out and play?

Did you get your #81 Bills Jersey yet?

That line never ever ever ever ever ever gets old.

And this issue is relevant because it would be nice to stop seeing people say Witten was the snitch. The 'kid' doesn't deserve that BS.

actually, the only person I'd like to see punched in the face more than Deion, IS Warren Sapp.
