I have a Sony Vaio VGN-A190 laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 adapter. I want to use this at times to view HD TV esp when traveling. I'd like to hook straight up to cable somehow.
You should be able to plug in a coax cable and go with it. For starters, I would load every bit of ATI software that came with the card. I should include a "TV" program that will detect a signal.
