I agree. Mayle was known as Little Lebron when he played basketball. His playing weight was 240 which he trimmed to 225 to play WR. This kid has an amazing athletic ceiling.

aside from his injury, Street has been having a very good training camp.

That highlight video was pretty impressive, looks a lot faster than his 40 time. Also, evidently the knock is he is not a hands catcher but in that vid he was catching everything with his hands.say hello to TO II...

BOTTOM LINE

Evaluators seem sure that Mayle is a moldable piece of clay who can become substantially better as a pro with more coaching and experience. Mayle clearly needs work with some of the basic fundamentals for the position, but with his size and an ability to win vertically, he has a high ceiling. He might need a redshirt year before he is ready to contribute consistently.

We need to feed him to Mike......Jason needs to call up Mike and get him to put this kid through hellish workout after hellish workout. If Mike can't teach you how to catch, then you just can't learn.

Well, heck if he had good hands he'd be in Jerry Rice territory. I watched his video and I saw some nice hands. Most catches were away from body, hand catches that a guy with bad hands does not make. Would like to see his low light film to see what kind of catches hes dropping.
