How ridiculous is this? :laugh2:

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/2008/09/vinny_cerrato_dan_snyders_new.html

Vinny Cerrato is coming soon to the airwaves. Four hours a week. Live on the radio from the newly built radio studios at Commanders Park. How pumped are you?
The Commanders Executive Vice President is now a midmorning radio host. Amid being in charge of virtually everything connected to the football side of the Commanders, the man is owner Daniel Snyder's new jock. ESPN 980, owned by Snyder, will announce today that "Inside The Red Zone With Vinny Cerrato" is now a staple of its lineup, according to sources with knowledge of the information.

Smarter move than having him judging personnel. And Danny likes to reward his brown-nosers....well, when he isn't firing them.

Snyder has bought up nearly all the DC sports talk radio stations because his attempts to outdraw them with his own ESPN affiliate were failing so miserably.

Now he is starting to use Commanders personnel as on air talent :p

Also his setup weekly interviews with Zorn, Campbell and Portis have backfired in his face :D

Everything he touches turns to ruin :D

How does he have time to do this? This is bizarre to say the least.

I gues four hours of we are great and Dallas sucks.

shouldn't GM's or VP's be looking for talent and ways to improve their roster on a daily basis instead of being on the radio?

A caller may know more about the Draft than Vinny. He's on the lookout.

The actual sportstalk guys in the area are mad as hell about this too.

Steve Czaban is taking shots at "Vinny the Host" every chance he gets.

Funny snyder story from another board (by Diggle)

Edited for language.....

talking to a guy who has worked with Snyder (btw, that's Mr. Snyder to you). Before saying anything, he said the guy is a total pain in the --- to work with. Can't get anything done and his arrogance is out of hand.

So anyway, they're producing a Stones show there and when a band plays a major stadium event, the venue typically gives the band something (Eagles jerseys with their names on the back, a big chocolate bar at Hershey, Flyers jerseys etc). The Stones tour producer says to Snyder...what are you going to give the guys? Snyder has nothing. But, then agrees to give the guys some autographed Commanders helmets.

So before the show, they go down and present the Stones with the helmets. Ron and Mick are all stoked, trying them on and butting heads with them. But, then Charlie comes over...and says to Snyder, "Hey bruddah, why is their only one signature on here? What position does this guy play?"

Snyder says, "Its the only signature that matters"

The Stones all look at the signature and every single one of their helmets have one signature --- signed by the Littlest Telemarketer.
--------------------------------------------------------------

Kinda says it all don't you think?

Makes me appreciate Jerry Jones even more

So how many scouts do they have?

You know what I found it already -- they have 8 total scouts. 2 pro scouts, 2 national scouts, 4 area scouts. It's a little old information, b/c it still lists Joe Gibbs as HC, and Louis Riddick as Director of Pro Personnel.

The Bengals actually have the smallest. Accoding to an April 22nd post on a Benglas Blog (http://whodeyrevolution.typepad.com/whodeyrevolution/2008/04/bengals-player.html): "According to Bengals.com, the Bengals Player Personnel Department totals nine people. One is a secretary, I mean Administrative Assistant (Debbie LaRocco), and another is former OSU Football Coach John Cooper, who the Bengals themselves don’t consider a full time scout. They say they use him as a consultant to tap into the “vast network of college coaches.” That leaves seven full time executives and scouts in the player personnel department."

The Colts, for example employ 9 total scouts.

Isn't there a rule about posting blatantly false information? I dunno, I am just wondering.

I'll answer this...!

None, really...which is evident by the play of your team. Any other stupid questions?

By the way, I bet The Midget is going to charge $.25 per call to that rat radio station...

:laugh2: and guess what? The Commander fan base WILL PAY...!

So those 8 scouts for you and cincy are really doing a good job huh, point is this Cerrato does not need to be hosting his own radio show. I am suprised LiL Danny let him out, he must have got tired of beating Vinny at racketball.... :lmao2:
