Jason is healthy enough to honor his two remaining years of his origninal contract (Dolphins) with the Commanders. Then cited that Jason could very well play longer with the Skins. News or not?

Personally, I could care less. Bring Dancing Boy on. Flozell, if he plays like he should, will shut his arse down.

Did I hear that Jason is going to play the opposite side of Flozell? I thought I heard something like that...the Skins are going to switch him? Or....do I just don't know what the heck I'm talking about?

Taylor is light and not great against the run, so the right DE position is where he fits. Unfortunately for the Commanders, Andre Carter is even worse against the run, so he will have to stay at RDE and Taylor will have to play LDE on the strongside.

On pass plays, Colombo might have some trouble with Taylor, however on run plays... the TE and Colombo are going to wear Taylor's arse out.

He's going to be sick of Barber by the 4th.

Thanks...that's what I thought I read.
;)

It's all in the game plan on how to eliminate Taylor...that is why I don't have the FEAR that other Cowboy fans have about this move. I bet that when the Boyz play the Stinks they run at Jason constantly during the first half until his bad azzz is thinking, "why did I come to the Commanders for this abuse"?

At left DE, Strahan was much more problematic for Dallas than Taylor will be. Strahan is a very good pass rusher, just like Taylor... but he's WAY better against the run than Taylor ever could be.

If we have to have one of those guys in the East, I'd rather it be Jason Taylor.

We should be fine playing against him. If he starts giving Colombo problems in the pass game, we'll just get the TE to help out some in pass protection. However, who is going to help Taylor out when Garrett calls a strongside run and Colombo locks on to his skinny arse?

"Excuse me Mr. Taylor... would you like some bacon with that pancake"? :D

Taylor will be playing the strongside, so Colombo has to shut him down.

Exactely!!! ;) And with the pulling guard? Oh ****tt....Taylor is going to be outta there!

Taylor to the Commanders actually means nothing to me. But, to other Cowboy fans...."on noez....we are in trouble....no, no , no ...mamma!"

I'm really not worried about the pass rush he might bring there. Their D-Line isn't much better, if it even is, than Miami's and he didn't do anything against us last year when we played the Dolphins. He has no one in Washington to take the pressure off him so Marc will have no trouble getting a little extra help from a runningback.

It's still an upgrade for the Skins but it won't do anything dramatic in terms of what we'll be able to do against their defense.

Don't care about the Skins? I think everyone needs to get off their high-horse and think about the facts. The Skins almost beat us at home last year and spanked us in DC. Maybe having Taylor on defense means they beat us at home and spanke us in DC. Ever think of that?

YAKUZA

that's the side I run to when playing the skins, even though Colombo is merely average run-blocking

he'll wear down Taylor though, neutralizing that pass-rush he brings

the skins we extend his contract before the end of the season or at seasons end....they cannot afford to take the 8m cap hit he will bring next year....the only reason they could this year is because they did not spend any money in free agency. He will probably get a 4 year extension next year and play 3 of them

Did everyone forget Andre Carter had 10.5 sacks and 55 total tackles last year?

As far as the rush defense -- the Commanders were #4 in Rush defense, and #3 in YPC. So I really don't know where you're getting how easy it's going to be to run on the Commanders next year.

Also, ok, so, Flozell Adams had one good game against Taylor -- The Skins held Barber to 43 total yards last year -- does that mean he's never going to run well against us?

It is okay to confess if you are a Skins fan. Not saying you are, but that's a strange first post if you aren't.

Yea and that was with Greg Williams calling the shots on "D".... how will that change this season with a new d-coord?

Too many questions, Sonny!
