My wifes pathology results from surgery last week came back clean yesterday, therefore to celebrate we're visiting your fine stadium this weekend. (wish our city had one) Regardless, this should be a fantastic game.

I managed to get Silver level (c233) tickets but my wife keeps asking about the dress code. Is this people wearing Cowboy jerseys or women dressed to the hilt? Women ask this crap.. sorry I had to ask

I'll gladly send Norv turner back for some feedback, and to think I was mad when Wade Phillips got the Cowboy job. Wade is a great defensive coach and Norv a great offensive coordinator but neither is a coach !!! They'd make a great team with a real Head-Coach though huh...! Bring Jimmy back !

Anyhow, look forward to meeting you fans and enjoying this game in that fine stadium. Win or lose this still could be a superbowl preview.

Thanks again
Patrick
Oceanside, San Diego

I also got a fancy parking pass but where's the party spot for tailgating?

its Texas man, wear what makes you feel comfortable.
you will see women in jerseys and you will see women in denim skirts
and tall boots i imagine in that area. the ladies in the suites may be dressed
a little classier but i promise, its whatever suits you here.
Lot 11 has some good tailgating and so does Lot 10, both are close to the stadium.

First of all congrats on the clean pathology report. Far more important than anything else. Enjoy the stadium, the atmosphere, and the tailgating, but I hope you don't enjoy the game.

:welcome: to the Zone.

I enjoy your neck of the woods. My wife and I visit there at least once a year. We have some friends out that way in Escondido. Oceanside has beautiful beaches.

H & M Landing in San Diego is a favorite spot of mine. I went deep sea fishing there about 4 years ago and am currently trying to talk my nephews into going again.

Thanks Hostile for the kind regards. !!

To reciprocate, I've got 42' fishing boat in Oceanside Harbor and you and your nephews are welcome to join us whenever you visit. Shark in the spring and tuna in the summer. My treat. If the Chargers win you owe me a bottle of Jack Daniels. thats fair. Deal?

pwalsh92056 at gmail to reach me.

Thanks again
Patrick

You know what, I'll take you up on the fishing offer whether the boys will come or not. I know 2 or 3 on here who would make a trip to come fish with me. I have not been for shark but tuna was a blast. I am allergic to seafood so whatever I catch is yours to eat. Fair enough?

Whatever you do, keep your ticket on you at all times. They will check it to get into a club seat area like this. If you leave the club area you will not get back in if you forgot or lost your ticket.

Congrats on the clean pathology report!

Coming from a notorious under-dresser..

...you'll see your fair share of Gucci, Chanel, Beamers, and Bentleys throughout the DFW area...moreso than most places.

...BUT, you're going to a Cowboys game. Many of those rich folk will still adorn themselves with their fancy clothes and accessories, but even more will opt for the casual route. The last game I went to in Dallas I was accompanied by a Senior VP of Getty Images and a local Neurosurgeon. Both wore Jerseys....but kept their fancy shoes on.

Awesome, Thanks everyone for the insight.. especialy the "Carry your Ticket" detail.

Well, I'm booked for the Westin Galleria. Friends said it's the the most Christmas type atmosphere shopping spot..

So I've got four days there. Anything else you'd guys recommend to show the wife... ???

Appreciate the help all...
Sincere thanks

I think Dealey Plaza and other Historic sites (History buff) are always a must do. You might want to ask folks for some restaurant tips. Treat the lady to great meals.

in spite of the fact that even though i provided you extremely great advice for clothing you offered the fishing trip to the site admin instead of me,
and in spite of your allegiance to the bolts...

here is a thread full of local info. not sure if its in that thread but you might also want to check out the Gaylord Texan for Christmas type stuff

http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=160099

if your wife likes Christmas light displays and you find yourself in Arlington at night find the Interlochen neighborhood which is fairly close to the Stadium.
i promise you wont be disappointed if you like that kind of thing.

okay enough of the Christmas spirit and being nice to opposing fans..GO COWBOYS !!

Thanks Poke,
No your not left out. Your right, sorry man the invite applies for all your help also, Cowboy fan or not.

Chargers win, you wear a Chargers jersey on the fishing trip. I'll don a Romo jersey if otherwise.

That map/thread was perfect.

thanks again
Patrick

Just email me when your coming out, k I didnt realize Hostile was an Admin but he can gather up to 5 guys. Six people fishing is a perfect scenario.
I'm in C233/Row 1/16 & 17 . If your in that area stop by and say hello.

haha thanks man...that C in front of your seat section keeps the riff raff like me from being able to walk over and say hello but thanks for the offer.

i was only kidding about your offer to Hos, glad the info might help ya here.

if you wander thru Lot 11 parking and see a white Kia Sorento with a tall flag pole flying holler out "Poke" real loud...it just might get you a cold Shiner Bock.
