Wade doesn't expect to get an immediate starter at 51 (he said a minute ago on 105.3), but looking generally for sub package guys, special teamers, and a kick returner.

Sez the guys off the board are all guys they expected to be gone.

The Ticket is back with draft coverage at 104.1 but I should have been listening to 105.3 today cause they got Wade, Jerry, Ciskowski comments ... Norm and the Ticket will be saved for whenever 105.3 goes off the air today, and for tomorrow ... doubt 105.3 will be doing Sunday coverage ...

Good to see Larry Lacewell back at the Ranch. The last time we focused on drafting subpackage players we got a 3rd down scat back (Sherman Williams) and a blocking TE (Kendall Watkins) in the 2nd round. Jerry promised he would never do that again.


Hey, heres an wacky, crazy idea .... Instead of drafting for September, what about drafting for the next 2-4 years and taking the most talented players on the board who might not can start right away but could be starters a year or two down the road?

I hate it when our coaches/owner says stuff like that. You don't focus on certain types of players, you choose the BPA period!!! Besides that, sub packages and STs are available all throughout the later rounds, not for teams to focus on picking them during the second round.

I am not opposed to Casey, but I really don't want him during the second round. At this point, we have should go OL.
