Best thing about this thread is the article's link to ProFootballFocus.com, which tracks coverage stats for defensive backs.

In their 3-4 OLB rankings (not sure what their formula is, but based on a quick glance I can tell I'll likely have a problem with it) they have Spencer ranked as the 6th best 3-4 OLB and Greg Ellis ranked as as the 45th best 3-4 OLB. Hell, I didn't even know there were 45 3-4 OLBs in the league.

Ellis is ranked as the 2nd to worst 3-4 OLB against the run in the league, which at least fits with the fact that Wade began pulling Ellis and using Spencer on run downs.

Too many times I see the corners just playing the eyes of the reciever and never take a peek back to see where the ball is...!

Well, I think we have the talent this year to actually make the pic. TNew and our young corners can really play and I see WP letting them be more aggressive this season...
