Wade's Cowboys are 4-2 against the Eagles over 3 seasons, winning the first game in 2007 and 2008 and losing the rematch: by 10-6 in 2007 and the 44-6 blowout in 2008.
Over those years, there have been lots of points scored in some games (38-17 Cowboys in 2007; 41-37 Cowboys in 2008; 44-6 Eagles in 2008), with low-scoring action only in the 2007 10-6 loss to the Eagles.
But 2009 has been different. The Cowboys won 20-16 in Philly, allowing the Eagles only 1 touchdown. And, of course, no scoring in the 24-0 shutout. In other words, the Eagles have scored only 1 TD on the Cowboys' defense this year.
You never know how things will pan out when it's gametime, but I like the odds of the Cowboys' defense throttling the Eagles for a 3rd time. And I like the new, smarter Tony Romo facing the Eagles' blitz.
I just do NOT like the prospect of a game where it comes down to Akers' leg versus Suisham's.
