writers on the show called something out that wade said wrong yesterday
wade had said that the cardinals went 8-8 last year and cowboys went 9-7, but the cardinals went 9-7 last year, whoops wade;

wade; uh, deion looks better today and is going to practice today, if he practices well today he should be ready to play, thats about it as far was what is going on

wade; um, well they have done them before and early in the season and done it on special teams and randel el can throw the ball so they have players capable of scoring, i dont think its desperation, but they have players ready to score

wade, we have things we can use and it has to be there as far as percentages, and some things we have called off becuase of not the right look, i think those situations can be good at that time but they have to be successful

wade; not any more than usual, joe and i go a ways back to prepeare for things they might run against us; if your sound in what you do, usually those things are low percentage plays; because you take of care what your doing;

we havent seen a lot of reveres, because we play well in that and were sound in what we do

wade; they play alittle different against each time, we expect them to play alot ot things they played well against us well in the first game this year with the skins and cowboys;

wade, yeah, you dont want any excuses and for whatever reason we didnt hit on all cylinders in the first game till late in the game

wade; bennett has done well and looking very good, just like when he went out, running routes good and blocking well, yeah he told me he matured in a couple of days on field he has a good attitude; didnt hear what player they were talking about last

thats it;
writers said something about some player sending out text, i think its bennett, while john phillips has looked good the writers are saying on the fan; so in other words bennett had better step it up or phillips might out play him and get more plays the writers are thinking;

So they are guessing/speculating that Bennett sent out the SOS text?

i didnt catch when the writer asked wade the question about the dallas cowboys player texting or not. When the writers ask questions, you barely can hear them, mostly all you can hear is when wade answers the questions. So, sometimes your speculating if you cant hear the name.

I have noticed that Joe D the ST's coach is always close to Wade on the sidelines whispering in his ear, I get the feeling that he has been helping Wade out a lot lately, and now after reading Wade's press conference and him mentioning Coach Joe, that is confirmation to me.

Has anyone else noticed Wade and Coach Joe on the sidelines?

If they know who the SOS guy is they should cut him now. I remember Jimmy Johnson doing that to a player for sleeping during a meeting. It wasn't a Michael Irvin type player but I'll bet it got the palyers attention.

Yep, Coach is the brains behind the operation and Wade is a mere puppet.:rolleyes:

This assertion is ridiculous; Coach Joe has his hand full with Teams. I doubt he even knows the bulk of the defensive or offensive game plan on game day. This anybody but Wade act is getting old.

I have no doubt Coach Joe D gives input and is someone Wade looks to that is what assistant coaches do, they are not just standing on the sideline because it is a good place to watch the game, they are part of game and server to assist the HC during the game from the guys on the sideline to the guys up in the booth.

that would be kinda weird since Bennett hasn't experienced many of those december collapses

Yeah, Jimmy cut a scrub who sucked. Notice that he didn't cut Leon Lett whose bonehead play lost us a game.

That crap just gets the attention of a handful of bottom of the roster guys.

I agree. I saw before the season a round table talk with Troy, Mike and Emmitt. Troy and Mike were giving Emmitt a hard time about how he would fall asleep during meetings. I don't think Emmitt was worried about getting cut. Jimmy did send a message when he cut guys like Curvin Richards and that is if you are a bottom tier players you can't afford to make mistakes. Guys at the top of the roster were not put under that same treatment

but thats my point, we have 2 players on the team now, what are they contributing to the teamwise:
Cletis Gordon and Curtis Johnson; or you can look at Cory Proctor or Duke Preston, with Montrae Holland; you cant tell me that you couldnt cut one of those players that wasnt producing on the team to make a point to the rest of the players at the bottom of the roster.

we looked at chris mcalister last week, and reports were from todd archer or tom c... cant remember which one, but one of them said that the cowboys really liked what they saw in mcalister.

We all know we will if we get to the playoffs Columbo coming back, so your backup OT would be Doug Free, abut you still have Mcquistain on the team too.

I feel like parcells said you always turn the bottom of that roster to get better and that sends a message to the other players too.

Why would you cut those guys without a reason? Jimmy cut Richards because of 3 fumbles in a game another player was cut for falling asleep in meetings. If Procter, Preston or Holland were slacking off that would be a reason to cut them provided you actually had someone to take their spot. Cutting a guy for the sake of cutting is foolish cutting a guy and bringing in a player you feel is better makes sense.

Parcells chured the bottom of the roster because the player he would bring in he felt was better than the guy who was here not to send some message

well i feel that mcalister is better than cletis gordon or pat mcquistan;

that like you just said you always look for better players if you can find them, this time of the year, you can find possibly some of those players on teams practice squads

that have talent, but needed time to mature;

like when we picked up scott shanle one year late in the year; later we traded him for a draft pick;

while he helped us on special teams and defense later;

Bringing in an old vet is not churning the bottom of the roster. Mcalister was a good DB at one time he is not someone you are going to develop as a player and if I'm going to let mcquistan go then I would look to pick up a person who plays that position since you try and allot so many roster spots for each position.

Johnson is a bad example as he's clearly a guy we are looking at developing. Pretty much all our bottom of the roster guys are vets, so there isn't much message to send. Young guys need a message. A vet knows how to prepare and understands his role.
