Wait a second. Ware isn't All Pro?

What not true? Matthews playing for a top 5 Defensive and still in Super Bowl hunt... show up in the 4th Q making big plays, while Ware disappear in the 4th, always running outside so the RB always have the easy 5 yds gain.... The bottom line I'm big fan of Ware, but how many times where the game on the line, we need that D to step up and WARE was never around for that big sack in the 4th Q to end the game, instead we see almost every QB become All Pro against this great pass rush team.....

No games should be subtracted, okay? With that being said, I just think Matthews had more of an impacting year. There were times when I thought to myself during games, "Where is Ware?" or, "When is Ware going to make a play?" And he never did. He's a great player, but for HIS standards, he had a down year. To his credit, when the Cowboys were out of the race, he kept playing, and he won the sack record in the final three games, whether they were meaningless or not. But Ware is supposed to be the franchise's best player, and I don't think he warranted that title in 2010.

Another good post.

So you watched Green Bay games instead of Cowboys since they both started at the same time most weeks.

I watched Ware every game this year and I watch him pressure the QB consistently and throw on a sack here and there then after the game I hear people say he disappeared and didnt do anything.

Thats what fans seem to do they always look at players on their team more critically than players on other teams

The NFL Sunday Ticket has a package which allows you to see at least eight games simultaneously. I use that feature when I want to see more than one game.

Thanks I actually did not know that as I have never had the Sunday Ticket

People make this same stupid kind of comparison thread every year to other players who did well. Last year it was Jared Allen and he actually has more of a record to compare him to Ware.

Where are those comparisons now? Allen has had a down season and Ware has again extended his lead in sacks since when he came into the league.

Lets see Clay Matthews do it a few more years and NOT get busted for steroids. Have you seen the guy's neck? That isn't natural.
