I didnt get to see it.

Can anybody describe it OR have a video?

First 2 games he was being bashed, so lets give him his props for getting the first of many!

How did all of you think he played today?

He rushed up field and the OT didnt keep his momentum centered and Ware was able to move to the inside for a clear path to the QB.

He also had a couple of pressures from speed rushes.

It was obviously nice to see him get one.
Most of the day when he was rushing the qb he was just taking an outside rush and trying to beat his guy of the edge but SF was doing lot of 5 step drops and Ware was going too deep in to the backfield.
On his sack he actually took an inside rush and got Rattay for about a 3 yard loss. He needs to come inside more often to keep tackles more honest, a lot of times you see tackles just push him deeper into the backfield and the qb steps up and Ware is out of the play.
He'll catch on, in fact he could have a big game against oakland when Collins takes his deep drops for their deep passing attack.

He was being single-blocked by a tight end, sort of bull-rushed him and jumped on Rattay's back when Rattay stepped up in the pocket. It was a pretty easy sack, but it counts the same as any other.

He's miles behind Ekuban, and Ekuban sucked.

In 3 games he has as many sack s as EKUBAN had in almost his whole career.

Lets get real now

He needs to learn some moves. All he does is speed rush and spin.

ware is from a small school playing a new position in the highest level of play, and teams are still game-planning for him....that should tell you something right there

Teams are game planning him? That's news to me.

If they're doing any "Game planning" against him it's in the running game. In the passing game they haven't had to game plan him. He's been blocked one on one almost every time he rushes the QB.

If having a TE block him means he's being "Game planned" then I stand corrected.

It's been posted on here by other, by Ware was trying to speed rush the edge and was being pushed beyond the play.

But, he was getting closer to the action this week than last. He's a rookie. He's improving. I'm still convinced he is going to be a stud.

His pass rush looks better and better each week. I think he needs to gain some consistancy...he has the makings of a great player. He makes a lot of big plays, but teams are still finding ways to take advantage of his inexperience. He has tremendous speed and quickness. All this will come in time. I agree. He needs to be a FACTOR against Oakland. Sims should be a tough test for him.

Ware needs to time is rush with the snapcount. Get a jump on the count and try to beat his man before the pocket forms. You should be free to jump around in different positions. Fake a blitz up the middle here and there and maybe go on a stunt to try and free him up. The problem is that his being trained to cover TEs and fullbacks. That isn't his forte. Just let him rush the passer any which way he can.

I dont know if it was all that easy. Ware got his left hand/arm on to the left shoulder (I think) of Rattay. Rattay began a duck and Ware had a little momemtum which may have actually made him miss a dead on tackle. But Ware made a really nice adjustment and quickly wrapped his left leg around Rattay ensuring he go down. Looked like the move of someone who knows what he is doing.

Ware has got to change up his rush pattern.
Looks mostly to take OT straight on.
No speed to the edge or inside rush.

Is he stuck in a lane or what.
