If the team was lucky enough to draft Warmack in the 1st, would they consider drafting Barrett Jones in the 2nd? Not often do you have a need--Offense and the # 1 Guard and # 1 C is available. Of course we all know they are both from the #1 college team.

Sounds like a dream draft and automatic Oline changers. Your thoughts.

I get the feeling that some of us fans view Jones a little higher than some of the teams do but that is just a feeling.

I will say this though. I don't see the cowboys taking an OG in the first and a Center in the second.

I would be shocked if that happened, not upset mind you but shocked.

I think if they go OG in the first than Jerry and Jason will throw montee a bone and get him a Safety or DT (1 or 3 tech) in the second or third.

Exactly. And if Vaccaro is there at 18, they will pick him and probably pick up OG or OT in the second round.

I would agree with this. I don't know if Jerry and crew value interior linemen like we on the board do. I hope they do, but if Vaccaro and one of the guards are both there, I will be surprised if they don't announce that Dallas has a new Safety.

Dallas has been weak up the middle on both sides of the ball for years. Anything up the middle OL/DL or safety is fine by me.

No, Jones is injured and probably available in the 4th round.

Even if he was not injured, Brian Schwenke appears to be a better player.

I would walk away okay with it as well, but I really, really like Warmack. Too many holes to fill to be too upset though.

If the draft fell that way the team should consider itself extraordinarily fortunate and make those picks, they are positions of need after all. Pick up a DT and/or safety in the 3rd/4th and in FA.

Jones is undervalued for me. He's smart, has played multiple positions, just needs to find one that fits.

To me, he's best under center as that will compensate for his lack of strength with guard-help some of the time.

His biggest value was his readiness to play early in the NFL. His upside was always considered limited. Now he might not even contribute to a team in 2013.

Bingo. Probably the only time I'd take Jones, at this point, is in the third at the earliest.

Sign me up, Barrett Jones will struggle this year but next year he will be similar to Sean Lee on the Oline. Warmack will hold dominion over the run game in 2013.

Jones after the 2nd would be OK to me, but I still see schwenke and maybe Frederick ahead of him (based on the injury question)

I read some reports where a lot of teams had around 15 players with round one grades. And a buttload of second and third round grades.

Everyone is hung up on getting an OL in round one... But if we don't have an OL with a round one grade on the board when we pick AND we do have someone else with a you've one grade, I'd rather stick to the board and get the OL in round two, then.

I am working on a Jerry Jason one that does not look just right at the moment. Wanted to test what the signature pic looked like when applied. I put up my mock with Peter Dinklage from Game of Thrones walking his dog.

Game of thrones is awesome.

Shoulda put up a pic of Khaleesi though, instead of the imp!

Actually Jones real value is the ability to play almost any position on the line. Center does appear to be his best spot. His intelligence and football knowledge is also valuable. Interesting how some here seem blind to that.
