How can you be, you have been here since inception and have what 50000 posts. You have seen it for years. Many posters here are idiots who would rather lose so they can complain. We are winning so they have to complain that we aren't winning by enough.
After 3 straight 5-11 seasons and then the underachieving expectations years under Parcells, plus the Hutch vs. Quincy wars I would think that having a 13-2 team with a real QB would be enough.

How silly of me.

imagine how much better the defense would be with a capable 3rd CB

Imagine how much better our special teams would be if we had a backup punter. You never know what will happen if McBriar goes down

Folk was a Punter here at Arizona too. 96 punts for 4242 yards is a 44 yard average.

In a pinch I think we're covered.

1: We're 13-2. That's the second best record in football.

2: We're 7-0 on the road. Only other undefeated road team? New England. Only 5 teams have gone undefeated on the road since the merger.

3: Our "pathetic" defense has given up a grand total of 23 points the last two weeks and has 8 sacks. They are second in the entire NFL in sacks this season.

4: We beat a good team who was fighting for their playoff lives in their house with varous injuries to our starting QB, receiver, center, and cornerback and our starting safety suspended.

5: We're 13-2. That's tied for the most wins in franchise history.

6: We've played our worst football all year the last 3 weeks, and have still managed to go 2-1 with both wins coming on the road against desperate teams.

7: Did I mention the whole us being 13-2 thing?

I know, I know, damn me for bringing logic and reason into this cesspool of negativity and outrage. I just figured some needed to be reminded of the reality of our current situation before taking a razor to their jugular.

One of your best ever....

Lol damnit, my one shot at sarcasm all night, and I get shot down like an Iraqi missile. Again, nice research and thanks for the knowledge.

How about a backup....long snapper. We all saw the devastation of not having a quality snapper

Long snappers are rare birds. Dale Hellestrae comes to mind as about the best we ever had.. You find them where you can and in a pinch any center can theoretically do it. Old Dale played 11 seasons with Dallas which is an incredible career for a long snapper. Dale played for three years prior to Dallas with the Bills and for one year after us the Ravens. Dale was the only STer I can think of who stayed long enough in the league to actually make money long snapping and wedge busting.

I do not think we lack depth in long snaping myself. I wouldn't ask Andre Guroude to do it but I am sure we could find someone to if we really needed one.

I'd take 1-2 and be injury free :p

13-2 is a very satisfying feeling...for now. Once playoffs come along, 13-2 (or 14-2 hopefully) doesn't mean anything.

I'm not being pessimistic, but I see so much potential in the offense that it bugs me when we go 1-13 on 3rd down or that it's week 16 and we've had only our 3rd game with a 100yd rusher. Maybe I'm being greedy...I want MORE!!

You are SUCH a Wildcat groupie, it's comical...

There's nothing funnier than a guy who's constantly puffing up the guys who play for his favorite college team... sure am glad I've never done that kind of thing...

:D

Hey!

I'm busy promoting Colt Brennan, Jason Rivers, Davone Bess and Ryan Grice Mullins. Does that make me a Warrior groupie?

Haha I was just joking around. My other posts in threads were trying to be serious and all that did was divide the board and create arguments. So I was trying the sarcastic side of things, but it appears I've failed. My long snapper and Romo comments didnt seem to be taken as a joke lol.

Yes... the only exception to this rule is when Horns fans puff up our players, because obviously any player good enough to come to Austin is a superior talent, bound for NFL greatness...

Coming from a UTEP alumni, I resent this statement. :)
