we just had the first big wave of roster cutdowns, but before everyone panicks to sign so & so, remember the prime cuts come this saturday, this saturday come the cuts that alot of teams regret having to make, in other words the hard cuts. i still maintain we need to sign another OL, preferably a OT. i wouldnt also mind a veteran kicker and something in the FS dept, as i think Berryo will either get cut and hopefully re-signed to the PS, or just flat out put on IR.

mmm, you got a point. maybe bill & co are waiting for other players to become available. but in all likelihood, friday's cuts will have a bunch of coppers and crowders among them, you know, special teams guys.

So he's out of the running for us and Philly.

Heard it on Sportscenter.

I would hope that they would put Beriault on the IR list and go ahead and have his knee scoped to clean it up. What the heck, we can keep Mr. Irreplacable (Lynn Scott) one more year.

I would like us to sign another OT and an OLB. Not sure there will be an OLB out there worth it. I am still waiting on that older veteran safety or CB to convert ala George Teague as well.

Someone like Teague could make a huge impact on this defense.

Well that's not always the case. If you have a guy that you like but you know doesn't have a shot because of depth then you will sometimes release him early enough so that he has a shot to catch on with someone else. I don't think Warrick was that far down on the list... I think they let him go early because they wanted to give him a chance to play elsewhere. Good will goes a long way towards the morale of those left behind.

Agree Jobber, esp on OT. Behind Flo we have Vollers and on the right side we have Rob, who I love but he's a rookie switching sides, and Tucker who sucks. Having a vet for insurance would make me feel a lot better.
