Image: Was Romo baited on the Devin Street throw or did he simply miss?

Not only was that Byrd PI a blantant no-call, but Byrd also had a couple huge acting jobs during the game that resulted in costly penalties. Namely, the phantom hold on Witten where Byrd threw his hands up and fell to the ground during a legit block. Also, I know it's not a popular view around here, but I still think the Harris personal foul was garbage...Byrd pulled a monster flop there IMO.

Should have been a personal foul on Byrd. He didn't turn around to play the pass and pushed his man before the ball got there. Refs once again never calling anything against the other teams we play. Yet they penalize us for ticky tack fouls that otherwise wouldn't be called.

I actually think this season has been pretty evenly called for Dallas. Yes, the Saints got away with some things, but we also got away with having our linemen way downfield on Dunbar's catch.

It's been about 50/50 from what I've seen, which is unusual in Cowboys games.

We scored a TD after Dunbar went out of bounds or whatever... We get plenty of things that swing our way as well.

I saw that and wondered if Murray ruined it by so blatantly pointing it out?

This and Romo should have either threw it flater and/or further. Street had Byrd beat, but because of essentially an underthrown pop fly, Byrd had time to get to Street and break it up.

I wish they would have called it. I don't want our team to have breaks from refs. I would actually rather us lose than have gimmes from the refs. Same feeling that I have about our opponent. I rather they not call those fouls that don't need to be called. But if they call those penalties on us, they should call the same penalties on them. There were several calls that they missed. The pass to Street and Bryant come to mind. Yet they call those same ticky tack penalties on us. I just want fairness.

I was looking at nfl.com stats of the game. And it showed some saints highlights. Noticed some non calls in both highlights.

Two different angles of Spencer "clipped" on the long pass completion to Kenny Stills

TE Hill holding Jack Crawford to give Brees time to the sideline and then pushed him to get open for the td. I believe Leary got called on one that wasn't near as bad with Murray long gone around the edge and Free got called on one where the DB flailed his arms.

When the guy clipped Spencer, I was thinking uh oh. I was worried he might re-injure his knee. I'm glad Spencer was ok.

Oh come on. Have you watched the last couple of games? We almost certainly lose to the Rams if not for some serious help from the zebras.

The conspiracy theories on this website when things don't go our way are just ridiculous.

That game was just horribly officiated. There is no conspiracy as much as bad officiating crews.

If that was a bait, it sure was some master baiting.

...sorry.

Rams never got called for holding all game or the trip on Murray. Don't give me that

I feel the same way. I'd rather the game be called completely accurately, but since that doesn't happen, I don't mind the officials actually missing calls that favor us, too.

For instance, if they are going to miss the obvious tripping call on Murray's fumble against the Rams, then I'm OK with them calling the ticky-tack roughing the passer right before halftime on our field goal drive (especially considering roughing Romo hasn't been called as often as it should). It did look to me like the linemen might have scraped across Romo's face mask, which would have justified the call, but even if he didn't, I don't feel bad about it because of the missed tripping.

And, of course, there are other examples. I prefer that it just even out, which it seems to be doing this year, since the officials are going to get things wrong ... like blowing dead fumbles and interceptions.
