In the last 12 games in Seattle, their (SEA's) opponents have scored a total of 178 points. That’s less than 15 points a game. Not to mention the fact that in those 12 games, teams have turned the ball over 28 times, more than twice a game. And Seattle has played some pretty good offenses/quarterbacks during those 12 games as well. They have beaten Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Mannning, Colin Kapernick and Drew Brees twice. None of those quarterbacks and their offenses have managed to score 20 points. They have absolutely crushed their opponents at home.
Dallas managed to score 30 points in Seattle, despite a fumbled punt, lost fumble on offense and quickly trailing in the game after a blocked punt for a touchdown. What’s even more impressive is the way Dallas beat Seattle. Dallas challenged Richard Sherman. They didn’t shy away from him. Arguably the best cornerback since Deion Sanders, Sherman covered Dez Bryant all over the field (something that Sherman rarely does.) The Cowboys threw at Sherman six times, connecting three times to Bryant for 50 yards and drawing two penalties. They attacked Sherman, something that Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning all shied away from.
