Bunch of Brits who were unfamiliar with "Get loud on 3rd down."

The Jaguars were 1-8 and their fans had little to cheer about.

The game's outcome was all but decided midway through the 3rd quarter. Not much to make noise about.

I was thinking that it was just weird. Not a lot of emotion.

Especially during the fumbles. I think it's because they don't know the rules. Even though the bodies were there to represent,.. they couldn't make themselves heard.

Saw on TV that a lot of British Cowboys fans being loud when the Boys were on offense, but were subdued with the defense was on the field. SMH I'm really not sure they understand the concept of being loud to mess up the other team's snap count...

Actually, I enjoyed watching the game with that crowd atmosphere loud as a church mouse.
It was intense but quiet at the same time. Weird. The refs could have really messed up if they would have reversed some of those calls which were evidently right on the first call. (If they were in the States it would have been all jacked up:facepalm:.)

I watched the pre-game on an English channel, and it was hilarious. They had some African-American guy explaining the X's and O's of a passing play to the British host and he was like, "Right... right... yep... uh-huh..." like he clearly had no clue what he was talking about. He had all the stars' names memorized and had his talking points down, but didn't understand the fundamentals. So funny.

My brother-in-law is a native Brit. Grew up there, huge rugby player, then came over here and was a D-III kicker in the U.S. (He actually had a tryout with an NFL team a few years back, dude has a huge leg.) Anyways, he said that if he were back in London, he may have been asked to be on TV or radio to talk about the game. A D-III kicker! He said the Brits are starting to really love American football but they just have no clue what's going on,

Well I really enjoyed that kick goal in the third period and I cheered whenever romo was about to do a touchdown hand pass to one of his catchers, so this "Brit" knows his stuff.

Yeah, I don't think they understood the ramifications.

It was weird that the crowd really didn't make very much noise for either team........................it was like watching a scrimmage at training camp almost, where people were just watching with interest and not really much emotion.

They loved the kicks however..................LOL
