Here’s what I remember from posts during preseason: the smart guys here were saying *by the end of the year* he might develop into the team’s best outside receiver. And I remember a lot of other posts about how it was going to be WR by committee.

When you have to carry overrated talent, your not going to do much, the Cowboys touchdown leader doesn't even have a job now, guess who made him that? Cowboys had some good players to about 1-10 on the roster, absolutely no depth and mostly overrated players, which is still happening now, but to way less of an extent. We were the Browns without Romo, so thank him for not being absolutely terrible.

Dez is one of the greatest WRs in our franchise history. Be grateful for what you saw because it will be a longtime before anyone of his caliber walks through those doors again, and be happy if Gallup can eventually become half of what Dez was at his peak.

Dez might have numbers, but he is not half of the receiver Irvin was, and could not attain that level. He did not deserve to wear the number #88.

So a Rookie comes in and learns a new offense, difficult enough especially with these joke TC's. They after first game you throw everything out the window and use a different offense.
