I really can’t guess as to what the end game plan is for that. If you’re rebuilding, fine, just say so…..but why roll over all that space just to know you have it? I’m staying with my theory that Jerry and kid are not on the same page.

Stephen never wants to even flirt with a tough cap situation, probably because he has no idea how to work his way out of it and he knows it.

Can’t win that way, and expect that your draft is going to fix every problem every year.

I completely agree and it’s very frustrating. When Jerry traded Micah he said we would use the money to get FAs. Well…..where are they? I know FA is over for this year but I’m going to be mad if we don’t add people in the offseason.

Thomas is a tackle. He played both sides well in the same game. I'd keep him at left, move guyton to right and see how things go. Guyton can beat Steele to Start or be a swing tackle.

Isn’t it like 70 million? Does rolling over the unspent money give us a cap bonus for next year? Maybe they’re rolling money over to help absorb that 70 million. I really don’t want them to restructure Dak’s deal again and put more voidable years on it and create more dead money in the future. In this soft rebuild I would rather suck it up next season and take the 70 million hit as opposed to making future caps pay for it. JMHO.

I’d like to see more but from that limited sample he looked like our best OT. Man wouldn’t that be awesome if he unseated Guyton and/or Steele. Picking up 2 offensive line starters in one draft (Booker and Nate) would be a good draft. A great draft would be having 4 productive starters at the end of the year: Booker, Thomas, Blue, and Eze.

Correction: Nate was a 2024 7th rounder, I got my years mixed up. But point remains the same. I also forgot Shavon. If we come out of this draft with 4 starters: Booker, Blue, Shavon and Eze, that’s a great draft.

If Nate becomes a good player it does help absorb Guyton’s disappointment. But I don’t want to anoint him yet but that tape is exciting for the future.

Yes, the rolled over money will offset some. The cap ceiling will likely also go up some.

CeeDee and Dak could easily be restructured. There are a couple of cuts that could help as well.

Right now, Guyton is the worst of the 3 Tackles. But he's a 1st rd pick so he'll get every chance to improve. Tricky situation.

We have to remember this is his first experience playing in the NFL. I thought he looked a little timid at times. He got caught leaning once, which is not bad, but otherwise he looks pretty good. I think with more experience and confidence he will be a solid player for Dallas. The question is where does he fit? Maybe he takes over for Steele at RT next year.

I like how he is always shuffling his feet. he tends to get a little upright allowing defender to get to his body, but easily fixable if he learns to slide back a little quicker and anchoring. he seems to have some power and his hands need a little work. he looks better than Steele and looked as good if not better than guyton.
