watch the video, esp. near the end Colombo trying to run out and set up a block, he falls all over himself, which is normally what he does
It's not easy for a 300+ pound guy to lock in on a smaller defender trying to juke past him. Especially when a speedster like Felix is following fast behind you.

It still worked though.

Can't wait for a full season of Felix, he's a joy to watch.

Hurd threw a nice block at the LOS on that first vid too.

Felix is simply awesome. I think between him, austin and bennet our offense is going to be fine and dandy come next year.

Felix is a pleasure to watch all around. Much like austin and scandrick, they say all the right things, but you can tell they weren't coached into it, that is just their approach.

I think cl said it recently how amazing felix's explosion is. He just makes one step and goes and he is extremely quick.

It would be tremendous if we could find a big mauling mean lineman to go on the left side when kosier leaves after this year.

Hurd has thrown some killer blocks since he has been here and that probably explains why he is good on special teams, he doesnt fear contact and will do whatever is needed of him.

What separates Felix from Chris Johnson, in my opinion, is vision. Hell, that's what separates Felix from every back in the NFL currently. He has the ability to make moves not only to allude the 1st defender but also set up the second defender he encounters for failure. And don't get me wrong, last year I was hoping the Cowboys would pick up Chris Johnson, but Felix changed my mind in short order. At the end of their perspective careers, if they both stay healthy, Felix will be regarded as more productive. He might not break as many long runs as Chris Johnson, but Felix does have a better chance of making something out of nothing with his lateral speed and elusiveness.

I can't wait to see Felix back in this offense and hopefully healthy for the entire season.

if nobody can catch you from behind, it doesnt matter

I doubt anybody in the NFL right now is catching Felix Jones from behind.

As a Razorback fan who's watched Felix for years, he actually did get caught from behind quite a few times in college. He doesn't have crazy straight-line speed. What makes him special is that he doesn't lose any speed when cutting or moving diagonally. I'm not sure if you'd call that agility or what and it's kind of hard to explain. Tacklers appear to have angles on him and then all of a sudden he's gone. He's not a start and stop juker or a straight burner. He just runs away from people.
