Watching Sam Williams and Fowler pass rushing vs the Giants

I was out of town during the game vs the giants but I see its on YouTube now.

I am watching it and man was that defense TERRIBLE. No pass rush from the DE's.Diggs and Elam were both terrible and Wilson should have been benched (though he did make an INT to end the game at the end).

Wilson is not a coverage safety. And watching Sam Williams rush the passer is bad. Zero moves put a pull rush. Too slow of the ball to beat the OT with speed. And what's up with Kneeland constantly lining up too far off the ball. Almost like a 1/2 to a yard further back then the rest of the defensive line on a few plays I seen.

Fowler is not looking like a good signing.

Fowler was signed to be a situational rusher behind Parsons. He definitely isn't supposed to be getting as many snaps as he is getting.

Fowler is best in a rotation.

One thing I will say with regards to the secondary is that while I don't think they are uber talented, it's hard for me to pinpoint who sucks and who doesn't. You watch that game and for some of Diggs' so called mistakes, it looked like he thought he had over the top help and when he didn't he had to bust his butt. He wasn't the only one that looked lost in the secondary.

If one guy is routinely getting toasted, I might buy a talent issue. But when everyone looks bad and there is clear confusion (as also pointed out by Olsen a few times), my first look isn't at Diggs or Elam (who I don't think is all that good anyway, LOL), it's at the scheme and DC.

Funny that the only position group that's been good on D was our biggest weakness for years, DT.
Osa looks good, Thomas has been a pleasant surprise and Clark is really solid. We have 3 quality DTs for the first time in God knows how long.
All other position groups defensively have been below average.

Our coaches have to battle an owner who doesnt want to be competitive. Whats teh rush? Where are we going? Do we get trophys for getting to 5 wins before other teams?

Calm down the expectations you got another 50 years before its considered.

If you’ve seen some of the tape I’ve seen Dallas looks extremely poorly coached on defense.

Multiple guys on the same play just letting people run by them.

Not all the blame is on them, we saw that they had a bad offensive line and had guys out, we automatically assumed we were going to have sacks galore! We're just not that kind of team to take over a teams weaknesses

Williams is known for excellent pure speed at 22 mph. Truly impressive for his size. I know quickness/moves and speed are 2 different things. I have to hope he can figure out some kind of "moves" or this elite level of athleticism will mean nothing.
