Watershed Game

Reading the tea leaves and what not. This game for Parcells is huge. In the back of his head...this will determine if Parcells stays next year or not.
Parcells has to be thinking in the back of his head...does this team have a chance to get deep into the playoffs. This is the screnario as I see it.

1. Cowboys win in a close match (It will not be a blowout anyway). Parcells will either think this is their year or we are close enough to stay.

2. Cowboys lose in a close match (limited penatlies)...Parcells will think this team has about another year to go....and Romo played well enough to give manning a run for the money.

3. Cowboys lose in a blowout....Cowboys commit too many mistakes and give the game to the Colts...Parcells will walk away after the season thinking this has too many years to go to contend.

maybe Watershed Game is not the right word...maybe season defining is it.

I dont see how this game has any bearing whatsoever on what Parcells does after the season

this game isnt all that important if we win the others...its an AFC game, it's be better to lose this week and win the rest rather than win this game and then blow a game that could have a huge impact on the playoffs like against NYG, New Orleans...Atl or Philly...because of our lack of success so far in the division, the NYG and Philly games are the two biggest games left
