This is assuming we are picking in the mid 20's...gotta be optimistic right?
st Round- Markus Golden DE Mizzu- This is 1 of my favorite pass rushers in this draft. Listed at 6'3 260 he has a powerful frame with at least adequate length. I'm not sure I'd say his initial burst is quite elite, but his burst is pretty darn impressive. He's more than capable of beating OT's with his burst and has the necessary flexibility to duck and turn the corner. But what do I like most about Golden? His motor. You would swear this kid is a LB based on how much of the field he covers whole chasing down ball carriers.
nd Round- PJ Williams CB Florida State- 6'0 195 with 4.4 speed. National championship game MVP last year and has continued to play well this year. He has the combo of size, speed, and overall athletic ability to be a dominant CB in the NFL.
rd Round- Tevin Coleman RB Indiana- 6'0 210 with breakaway speed. Averaging 8 yards per carry this year, yes 8. He looks like a man amongst boys at times running against Indiana's schedule. He honestly reminds a little of McFadden watching him run. If he really does have the same skillset and can stay healthy he'd be a steal in the 5th rounder.
th Round- Gabe Wright DT Auburn- Fits the mold to a T of a Marinelli DT. I really see Wright being a steal for our defense in the middle rounds as I think he's playing out of place being shifted between DE and DT at Auburn. 6'3 285 with a very impressive burst off of the lines at times..needs to show that pass rush a little more consistently, but a scheme change to a Marinelli gap shooting D could really help him.
th Round- Cody Fajardo QB Nevada- We need to draft someone, I can't really believe that Dustin Vaughan is thought of as a possible replacement of Romo. Fajardo has a very interesting skill set to me, but would need a ton of work. He is by no means a play early guy, but I think he has the arm to make all NFL throws and his legs could be a real weapon. Him and Keapernick are the only 2 players in NCAA history to throw for 9,000 yards and rush for 3,000 yards. Pretty impressive regardless of the offense he's in. Give him 2 years to learn an offense and develop more and he could be a good 1.
