All I heard last night on the post game shows, this message board and social media in general is how bad we looked, which teams we lose to playing like that, teams that scare you in the playoffs, etc. 11-1 and the best team in the NFL and every week is people whining about something with this team. These don't come around here very often at all. We are legit Super Bowl contenders (I think more than we were in 2007 and 2014) but it gets tiring every week having to read how suspect this team is. Yet we just keep finding a way to win the game. I even heard people say we need to bench Dak for Romo and Zeke has fell off. I don't get this fanbase at times.

Football season is just a few months from ending completely. Enjoy the season! We now have a 10 day break to mentally and physically prepare for the last quarter of the season. We are doing just fine up to this point.

Reading around I would think we were 6-5 and scrapping for just a wild card spot like the last 20 years.

The "playing" might end, but not the talk and speculation. Ok lets be real clear here, at the end of the SB you WILL never hear anyone say "ok football talk is over til July. no, plenty of talk, lots to do, lots to still say. Ok, it will be ok, people are going to talk. Lets just let it happen, see what happens for once.

Agreed.

And I love how people are now using last night's game (which was CLEARLY an outlier for us) as some sort of gauge for the future. "Boy if we play like that we won't have a chance in the postseason!" It's like no **** Sherlock. The same could be said about EVERY team in the league following a lackluster performance. Some people.

Yep. I was one that thought we looked horrible, and we did if you gt right down to it. A really good opposing defense had a lot to do with that. But as you pointed out, we have the best record in the NFL and the team with that really good defense is 6-6. Thirty-one other teams have more losses than us which means that they are also flawed, just more so, in all likelihood. We're so focused on the here and now that sometimes it's hard to step back and look at the big picture to see what's really going on.
I'd much rather be us than ______________________ (fill in the blank with any team you want).

Yes teams need to win ugly games like this. Great teams do. This team definitely is a great team and could even be a special, championship team.

Jimmy would have cussed out random players on the flight home and cut a guy just to make a point after a sloppy game like that.

We looked bad but we won which says something for the team we have this season. Despite the penalties and turnovers we found a way to win on the road against a desperate team. Not likely to get away with a performance like that in the playoffs but you're going to have to win some ugly games during the regular season because no one plays 16 perfect regular season games. We've had to scratch and claw out a few wins this season and those are the wins that build character and mental toughness that will be needed once the playoffs arrive.

...it gets tiring every week having to read how suspect this team is.

This team is much more vulnerable than record would suggest and it would get really boring if all we did was congratulate.

Poster 1: Dak is swell
Poster 2: No...he's super swell
Poster 3: Best rookie ever
Poster 4: Yup

What a difference a year makes now we criticize wins. :lmao2:

Can't be a wackier fan base than this one. Last year fans here were looking for positives in losses and this year they're bashing wins, claiming we have a bus driver at QB and that we need to go back to Romo. You have fans who were drooling over Kellen Moore last season and some this season are comparing Dak's rookie season with Kyle Orton's. Reading some of the comments you would think we're 1-11, not 11-1.

Yup. The NFL is a year-round business now. If it's not about the games, then it's about the draft, and then camp.
