Oh cmon now... Re-read my initial post. This team is deserving of some constructive criticism. Perhaps that's the issue. There isn't enough constructive criticism in the locker room and film sessions.

There are plenty of positives but I chose to take a look at the negatives after a disappointing loss.

Who is miserable?

One is only unhappy when performance does not match expectations. Take this week's game against the Broncos. I fully expect us to get blown out, hence there will be no misery if it happens because that is what is expected.

Read perrykemp's post >here<. This is what frustrates me to no end. You have those people that say the league winners are of the pass happy ilk nowadays. Yet.. The last two Super Bowl champions had over 1000 yard rushing efforts.

We have to approach the game with a balanced attack to give Romo the ability to work within a less predictable offense. That old familiar feeling comes to light whenever we abandon the run and the opposing defense pins it's ears back. Remember, Romo isn't as nimble as he used to be in the pocket. They should be mixing in a good dose of run to keep opposing DCs honest. I'm just not seeing a lot of it and, despite the myriad of good things that can be highlighted, the inability to stick with a balanced approach bothers me.

What I am saying is that the Cowboys being 8-8 doesnt make me miserable.

Unlike some people, I do not let the outcome of games in professional sports affect my mood. I read the other thread about how folks get over a lost and it was just depressing. Some folks saying they skip meals, avoid friends and family, dont watch other games, ect....

That is just crazy. Yea, I am a fan and I root for the team to win but if they lose, I dont let it personally affect me..............................maybe that is just me, but the Cowboys losing does not upset me, I am used to it by now.................LOL

Right.. I'm sorta the same way. I used to be all pissed off and actually let the outcome affect my life in a way. I think the slightly inhibiting effect lasted until mid week. Now, I see the result, get pissed off for a few hours, and then everything is peaches & cream. I don't let them get to me like they used to yet the strength of my appreciation for everything Dallas Cowboys doesn't wane. I actually like this more mature approach to following the team. It's healthy and keeps me away from infraction city.
