Sounds like a Dennis Green line but it rings so true. We are a slightly better than average football team. We have all drank the Kool-Aide at some point in the season but we are not a great team. When you look back at our schedule, who have we beaten? As of now we only have 1 win against a playoff team (Indy) and that win looks less impressive each week. We have beaten the Giants who might still make it but have lost 6 of 7 so that is hardly a quality win. The teams we played that our playoff teams (Jax, Philly, NO) have beaten us soundly. Beating up on TB, Houston, etc. is nothing to brag about. We are 2-4 in our division. Slighty above average sounds about right.

That actually is a pretty stupid line, "we are what we are". We have played terribly so we must just be a terrible team. To me that is just a cop out for not being prepared and not playing well.

Were the Stealers what their record said they were last season? Maybe so but they ended up winning the SB anyway.

The Cowboys are a much better team than our record shows. We have thrown away some games and simply not shown up for others.

You are what you are until you prove otherwise. This team has a chance to prove themselfs what they do in the playoffs will say what they are

Thank God someone else threw a little hate at that tired, tired line. You are what your standing at the end of the year tells you you are. While there's still games left to be played, there's room to improve!

Was Tennessee really an 0-5 team at the bottom of the league standings? Evidently not since they are now 8-7 with a shot at the playoffs.
