We can't realistically say we have good players!

Dallas is a collection of talent. Of course there are good players. The issue is, a collection of talent does not equate to a team. This applies to the coaching staff as well. Jerry assembles the coaches and they don't compliment each other. I believe Jimmy and Parcells were largely in charge of their coaching staff and they were able to win.

Great can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people.
I can name two great players at their positions on offense without blinking. Lamb and Pickens. There's nobody in their right mind that would consider them just "good" receivers.

Quinnen is a great defensive tackle. I believe Smith 73 is a great offensive lineman.

We do have good players. We also have bad players and bad coaches.
you're a bad teammate, there you go missing g in action, don't you know there's a level of your pain I need to feel on here to be myself????? I just don't get you I really don't!!!!!

the talent is always overrated on this team. People think Dak is always a top 3 QB, Lamb and Pickens are Megatron and Larry Fitzgerald, Q Williams os Aaron Donald, deron bland/diggs is prime Revis, etc.

alot is fan optimism and club hype. the other is the exposure when someone has 1-2 great games it is talked about for seasons

the team has been on decline for a while if you look at their drafts - taco, mazi, etc. etc. the only one that hit was Parsons.

the last part is that the culture breeds apathy. HOF player become great (Parsons, aubrey) great players become good (Dak) and so on.

its so bad you have radio hosts saying the cowboys will win the division by "games" at 6-6-1 with opponents playing Washington 2x and the raiders.

the org deserves nothing but scorn and mocking
Dak is a top 5-7 player

When we constantly lose to teams with bad records, and teams we should do better against. Yes it's the NFL and anything can happen, but goodness our players play beneath the level of our opponent in these losses! The other teams players clearly want it more than we do, and they're hungrier than our players.

With that said, is it fair to say that we have good players on this team? Coaching/ownership is surely a HUGE factor, but these players have to have the will to be better and to want more! At this moment, I can't call any player on this team good, solid at best. When the game is on the line, where are these GOOD players?? To some they're great, but i'm not seeing it! Please give your thoughts!
There's not nearly as many good or great players on the team as the ridiculous GM/owner person believes, and that's true almost every season. And as overly reliant as he wants to be on the draft to find those good and great players, they're not drafting particularly well in recent years, either.

I bet you ask Jerry right now if they're doing well in drafting he'd give you a A++++++++++ rating for us

Well you're pretty much saying the offense is overrated? The offense has been in the top 3 all season and I believe were leading the league in passing yards, I could be wrong, but.....

If your offense or any of the offensive players have put up that production, then how can you dispute it? Lamb and Pickens have been the best WR duo in the NFL this year. Dak has been playing great, not perfect all year and has helped us win games that we probably wouldn't have won.

Dak isn't top 3 every year, but he's been top 10 his whole career, every year he's finished the season healthy.

Where is the lie about anything posted above? You can't dispute real life true facts my guy.

You loss me calling out Q. Williams though. Dude is one of the best DTs in the NFL, period, probably top 3.....
Dak won't make the HOF, neither will Lamb nor Pickens.

- the offense couldn't win the first eagle game. lost by 4 and didnt score a single point in the 2nd half. Who had crushing drops. no way it in does that.

- 14 pts vs the Bears. someone threw 2ints. 0 it's in the 2nd half again

- vs broncos : 188 yards passing g 2 YDs

- 17 pta vs cardinals. Last 2 possessions with 7 min left : fumble, INT.....the CARDINALS.

- down 10-6 vs Detroit. in red zone. instead of throwing it in the stands, MVP chucks a lateral to, checks notes..TE FERGUSON, for a loss 17. the dumbest play of the year.

1st and 10 at MIn 11 tied 17-17. get 2 yes and settle for a 26yd fg. settle for a tie at half. misses 2 FGs

you are making my point.

SF played half the year with Mack Jones in the toughest division and has 10 wins. no one gets better in Dallas. peak early and apathy it is the culture

It's really simple......fix the D and we're alright. Fixing the D to be consistently better or good. You've seen it all year. As for the O's skill players, some of you want us in shootouts like the old Big12 or Southwest conferences and that can't sustain in the NFL. Stop. And the mention of Megatron w/ Stafford or Fitzgerald (the Warner year) didn't just produce regular team pleasantries.
remember...the def was fixed in 2023. top 5..then got smoked in the playoffs giving up 3 straight tds to open the game. the offense responded by scoring 0 in the first 3 drives and then throwing a pick 6.

yea. putting g up 14 and 17 vs the bears and Cardinals screams dominant offense.

the def sucks, but this offense isn't as consistent as fans still glamourize.

putting 40 burgers up on Washington, Giants (who have fired everyone), smoking the jets is not a resume slaying murderers row of the 85 bears and 2000 Ravens.

its wishcasting. the whole team is below average, but outside of tyler Smith, maybe Williams, there are no ahOF on the roster. decent skill players, garbage overall

But wouldn't you agree......sometimes 23 or so should be enough. We've seen too many games just viewing our punter on the field. Opponent's punter been over there laughing and giggling with the cheerleaders. We can't stop a 3 and 15 play.
