Your absolutely right the game just got away at the end a choke job pure and simple.
The fact is this team has made major personel changes for the last couple of years and with all the young players playing and even the veterans which are playing on this team for the first time.
A reasonable person should realize that these kind of games are going to occur, while you hope the NFL learning curve won't happen there is virtually no chance a team can have so many new faces and not have breakdowns like what happened tonight.
But the fact remains we have a much more talented and deeper roster this year, now if in November and December we are still making those mistakes then one has a legitimate reason to panic. But this team even in losing tonight showed glimpses of the talent and perhaps a dominant defense in its embryonic stage.
I think everyone needs to take three deep breaths and give this team a little time before you start throwing people under the bus, After all we are exactly where most fans thought we would be at this time 1-1 with a winnable game coming up.
Sure I'm disappointed but its just one game in a long season, beside I think many fans on this board have seriously underestimated Joe Gibbs coaching ability. I've read all the crap about how Gibbs couldn't coach etc, But as a long time fan I knew better Joe Gibbs teams always win their share because they are well coached. That's just the way it is, we have a young team and when you go against well coached teams your youth and inexperience will get exposed. That happened tonight.........

Yes, we choke big time,but, in a way its good. Now, we can find out who are the real leaders of this team. Can the young players rebound after a tough lost. Will, this team lose confidence like last season or can they regroup and focus on the 49ers this week. This hopefully will built character on the team and will help them down the road come Nov and December.
