This is on the Coach............he is the one who has Cortez on the roster, he is the one who decided to run up the middle when inside the red zone, and he is the one who foolheartedly decided to challenge that play losing the TO, forcing Bledsoe to throw to the sidelines at the end on the interception.

It never fails.

Seattle makes two long FGs to beat us - yet they miss a shorter one as time ran out that would've beat Washington.

Another Dallas collapse. :banghead:

Look it you can blame a lot of things but we would still be watching the game right now had Bledsoe just chucked it out of bounds..... That was a very very bad throw I am probably the biggest Bledsoe supporter on this board, but that was a joke of a throw. Ultimately I think the whole Cowboys team choked here. The defense broke down late when we need them to hold strong (as usual) and Bledsoe basically threw the game away there at the end...

there's plenty of blame to go around guys

Bledsoe for making stupid throws
Coaches for playing not to lose
Cortez for missing a chip shot FG

This means next week is a must-win. 4-3 isn't so bad when you score 23 points in 2 games regulation and should be 2-0.

If Drew didn't force it, they go to OT, likely lose the coin toss (They won last week), and the way the D played in the final drive (3 22 yard pass plays in 3 tries), that might have been their last shot. Bottom line: you miss a 23 yard field goal, you lose.

The only thing you can blame on the coaching is keeping that POS lousy kicker on the roster. Ask anyone if you could have an opportunity on the road to have a 10 point lead with 2 minutes left and all you have to do is kick a chip shot 29yd field goal to get that lead. Any professinal coach would take that.

When you play not to lose instead of playing to win... you lose

Realistically, I think if we were playing not to lose the whole game, I don't see why we go for the win in the worst of situations.. 3rd and long, 0 timeouts, Seahawks with 1, and a play going to the sidelines where the Defense was obviously going to be sitting... it was BS all the way around...

Parcells did a lot of crying this game, but that last play was suspect...

All and all I couldn't believe the opportunities we let slip away inside the redzone because we were trying not to make the big mistake, and then still letting it happen.

I agree with Cbz40, if you play not to lose...as we so often seem to be doing these days...you lose!
